Prof. Anna Hnydiuk-Stefan is the author and co-author of many scientific publications and monographs in the field of environmental engineering, energy, and management. Daily, she is a research and teaching employee at the Opole University of Technology. She actively participated in many research projects and international scientific conferences. She is a reviewer and author of many scientific articles in such publishing houses as Elsevier, Springer, Frontiers, SAGE, and MDPI. She is a laureate of many national awards, including being awarded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education as an outstanding young scientist. She is a member of many associations and international organizations, including the Energy Commission of the National Academy of Sciences, branch in Katowice.

Dr Luigi Vesce, Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy
Luigi Vesce is a Senior Researcher and Lecturer of Nanoelectronics at CHOSE (Centre for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy), Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he received a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering and Microelectronics in 2011. In the last few years, he developed a pilot line for a public/private consortium (Dyepower) to produce 10000 m 2/year of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) panels for BIPVs (Building Integrated Photovoltaics). He collaborates with research institutes and startup/spin-off companies on third-generation PV devices and process engineering, and on quality control optimization. Recently, he was the technology transfer responsible for DSSC modules with Start-up G+Lyte (Amiens, France). His research activity deals with the discovery, development, and fabrication by coating/printing techniques, and scaling-up of efficient and stable dye-sensitized and perovskite solar technologies for outdoor and indoor applications. He is involved in national and international PV-related projects, author of several contributions to international journals and conferences, and committee member/chairman of conferences about renewable energies.
Prof. Mihaela Popescu, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Craiova, Romania
She received an Engineering degree and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Craiova, Romania. She also received a Certificate of Habilitation in Electrical Engineering in 2016. She is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Craiova, Romania, and Director of the Doctoral School of Electrical and Energy Engineering. Her main field of interest includes power converters, adjustable-speed drives, active power filters, and power quality, with more than 200 journal and conference papers. She is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a member of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, the IEEE Industry Applications Society, a senior member of the Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, and an academic member of the Electrical Engineering Research Unit in Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER).
Prof. Mamdouh EL Haj Assad, University of Sharjah, UAE
Mamdouh El Haj Assad is a Professor in the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering Department at University of Sharjah. He has worked at Aalto University as research scientist and docent in the Department of Energy Technology for 21 years, and as Associate Professor and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Australian University in Kuwait. His research expertise ranges through energy system optimization, solar, geothermal and wind energy systems, absorption chillers, artificial intelligence and environmental pollution. Dr. Assad has more than 250 publications in the form of articles, conferences and book chapters. Dr. Assad has published a book entitled Design and Performance Optimization of Renewable Energy Systems (Elsevier, 2021). Dr. Assad is acting as a Guest Editor in journals for more than 7 special issues related to renewable energy systems. He is the Editor of Performance Enhancement and Control of Photovoltaic Systems book (Elsevier, 2023). Yang Han (S’08-M’10-SM’17) received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2010. In 2010, he joined the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, where he has been an Associate Professor in 2013, and Full professor in 2021. From March 2014 to March 2015, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. He is currently with the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, UESTC. His research interests include the ac/dc microgrids, active distribution networks, power quality, grid-connected converters for renewable energy systems, active power filters, multilevel converters, and static synchronous compensators (STATCOMs). Dr. Han has received several national and provincial projects, and more than 30 industrial projects in the area of power electronics, smart grid, microgrid, and power quality analysis and compensation. He holds more than 40 issued and pending patents. Prof. WANG Zhengwei completed his Ph.D. in Fluid Machinery and Fluid Engineering at Department of Hydropower Engineering in Tsinghua University. Post-doctor on Fluid Machinery and Engineering done at Politechnical University of Catalynia, Spain. Prof. Wang also serves as a member of IAHR International Academic Committee on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems, the chairman of IAHR Asian Working Group, vice-director of the National Marine Energy Technical Committee, member of the National Renewable Energy Society, vice-director of the China Hydro-Turbine Commission, member of the Hydraulic Turbine Standardization Committee, member of the Professional Committee on Wind and Tidal Power Generation of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, member of the Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory of Hydropower Equipment, and organized several international academic conferences and various forms of international academic research activities. Assoc. Prof. Wael A. Altabey was awarded a postdoctoral research certificate in 2018 from Southeast University, Nanjing, China after completing a postdoctoral research fellowship for two years in Artificial Intelligence (AI) based schemes for structural health monitoring (SHM), and damage detection of composite structures. Prof. Tamer Fawzy Megahed, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology
He is an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST). He got many funded projects and now he owns four projects funded by STDS and JICA in the following research points to improve the performance of wind energy using magnetic technology, the use of the IoT to monitor the load demand in housing and air-condition load analysis, and a multi-generational system to generate electricity, cooling, and fresh water. The total running funding project is about 450,000 USD. Dr. Tamer's research interests include power control, renewable energy sources, smart grid, electric vehicles, energy storage, vector control, power system protection, model predictive control, and green hydrogen. He has 46 international publications and two books. In 2022 he published 12 international journals in Q1 and Q2 ranking journals according to WoS. Also, he has two patents in magnetic refrigeration and designed IoT systems for monitoring electricity consumption.
